Malaysian oil giant backed team, Mercedes GP Petronas is on pole position in today’s Australian F1 GP thanks to brilliant drive from Lewis Hamilton. Team mate Nico Rosberg is on 3rd place behind Red Bull’s Dani Riciardo. Its difficult to judge the pace of the car due to qualifying session hit by rain but Mercedes is showing their winter testing strength on the whole weekend.
This year F1 racing have to comply with new engine and race regulation including fuel limit and revise point system to make the race more exciting. The engine which is 1.6l turbocharged is to promote greener image on the racing circus. We hope Mercedes can convert the pole to win the Australian grand prix.
